MultiCare’s Orthopedics Northwest clinic in Yakima reopened Thursday after closing a week prior due to vandalism and a resulting power failure.

Power was restored and clinic staff resumed providing services, according to a MultiCare news release. The clinic is in the Rainier Building at Walnut Street and 11th Avenue.

The building had a catastrophic power failure "due to vandalism to a critical piece of power equipment,” Marcus Perry, a MultiCare communications specialist, said in an email on March 13.

Additional details on the vandalism weren't immediately available.
